petrushkagoogol Posted February 12, 2017 Report Posted February 12, 2017 Plants take in carbon-dioxide and give out oxygen. This oxygen is used by humans to breathe and they release carbon-dioxide which calls step (1) recursively. There is a carbon-carbon cycle that benefits both the participants. What if man was made of aluminium, with the same oxidation principle for release of energy. Aluminium oxide could not be used by plants to carry out photosynthesis. Does this place restrictions for any Planet X that it's biosphere must co-relate with it's population ? (at least for earth-like planets) ? Quote
