Graphic Card Issue

Hi,

 

Got application where we need to take camera signal feeds and send signal over single mode fiber about 2km with this [sPAM link removed] Questel L-1SDI-FE-TX/RX sdi over fiber extenders. I am using [sPAM link removed] AJA SDI to HDMI to get to my computer inputs. The problem is I can get it all to work with VEGAS Pro 14

Is it possible because of graphics cards ?

Welcome to Hypography stern.

 

Click on the 'Find my match' button on your first link, look for the item codes and read the input and output specs. The output specs seem to be all for HDMI monitors or TV's, not PC's so your PC would have to recognise the extender as a monitor to work.

 

Better still, ask the vendor what will work before laying out any cash.
