faysunKle Posted February 23, 2017 Report Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) I am taking the liberty to suggest something. Sometimes we read incredible scientific and technological accomplishments and we can't avoid to wonder about other things that might happen, even in the far unforeseeable future that may now seem even science fiction and we want to ask/discuss with many other people ( forums ) outside our rather small human environment. Many times can be the salt and pepper in science and mind refreshing and a few times intellectually challenging, i am wondering if you can add a sub-forum who's title will have the meaning : will it happen in science and technology. (The sites management has better command of english and will find the exact wording) I am wondering for example, will ever the human being get to the point to create artificial cells with their dna that will drive the self-assembly of an object, even of the shape of a cup, mimicking in its simplest form nature's miracle of self-assembling biological organisms of all sorts and complexity. It's not personal theory (I've seen topiics like this in other forums) or exactly science fiction and certainly not bizarre, (stupid word) maybe it is "a moment's unconventional scientific thinking" that only the ones who believe a lot in science and technology dare. Where does it fit. Certainly not in strange claims. Edited February 23, 2017 by faysunKle Quote

Odds are if we think of something, someone else here probably also had thoughts on the matter. Not a bad idea for another sub-forum. Edited February 25, 2017 by Farming guy Quote
