Slavica Posted May 3, 2017 Report Posted May 3, 2017 Hi everyone - especially those who are interested in slavic history and slavic religion(s) ... It seems that a previously unknown slavic shrine was found in a cave near Ilirska Bistrica, Slovenia - said to be dedicated to Perun (or its local apparition Kresnik) - with an interesting petroglyph of this slavic deity. Here is a 'paper' describing it. If true, this is quite a discovery, as there are very few (if any) extant depictions of slavic deities and gods. Any thoughts? A picture of this petroglyph of 'Perun': Quote
