From (1) and (2) the Universe is transitioning from one infinity to another infinity. 3. But infinity by it's very definition cannot be quantified. Hence from 1, 2 and 3 the Universe must be finite. From another perspective the Human mind cannot perceive infinity. So the very fact that we can perceive it implies that it is finite. Is this correct ? The assumption that the Universe is infinite seems logical to me. Item 2 is the problem; the Universe is not expanding, it is only the visible area of the Universe that is expanding into the infinite area of the Universe.
