Can somebody explain me the physics with formulas to this image? Is from a youtube video. The guy uses magnets, battery and after put over an aluminium "paper" where starts to spin . One question. Can i add the videos' url or is considered spam?

I think I dimly recall this from school. If you pass a current radially across a portion of a conducting disk that is between two magnetic poles, you will induce motion in the disk by Fleming's left hand rule: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleming%27s_left-hand_rule_for_motors

 

I think it may be called a Faraday disc: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homopolar_generator 

 

Does he have one wire attached to the centre and the other one brushing gently against the rim, by any chance?
