Adaptive Questionnaires - Better Ai

I think self-adjusting algorithms, when applied to surveys and questionnaires, are a simple and practical application of AI.

 

Instead of making predictions based on results, the approach will be changed to intelligently decide which questions to ask based on -

 

* Obsolescence - it would be senseless to ask questions based on analog TV's to an audience that has totally migrated to digital.

 

* Relevance - It would be irrelevant to ask a question on umbrellas in a country which is arid.

 

Current algorithms are unable to intelligently adapt themselves to locales or trends.

Intelligent AI can reduce the frequency of irrelevant questions, based on recent data, and even phase them out completely.

 

This can be done by cross-database querying. More importantly, human interaction is not required to keep the "wheel turning".

Responses are subjective. The data could subsequently validated statistically, by using a chi-square test, for instance. (to define correlations).   

 

This does not change the use of AI, which is the methodology for data collection, AND, not data validation.
