A zero signifies "nothing" ! 0 You cannot subtract nothing from something because "something" is tangible, "nothing" is not. Hence, in maths, subtraction should be expressed thus : * (6 + nothing) - nothing = 6 Does "empty set" mean more than what it seems ? :p Quote
