Well, he is a hardcore Democrat so of course he think's it's bad.  :nahnahbooboo:

So why did you think it was "interesting?" The other true statement about Michael is that he is extremely cynical, and his point is that there are enough people out there who are every bit as ignorant and/or sociopathic as you who might still put him over the top.

I find it interesting that you'd think that was interesting.

Yes, on November 8, you Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob Blow, Billy Blow, all the Blows get to go and blow up the whole goddamn system because it's your right. Trump's election is going to be the biggest "**** you" ever recorded in human history and it will feel good — for a day. Maybe a week, :phones:

A lot of us Republicans also thing it's bad, very bad.  Trump made RINOs out of a lot of us, yet too many still cling to "party loyalty" when the party has shown no loyalty to even it's own supposed principles.

I saw somewhere that basically said that the Democrats have an advantage over Trump which is like what happened with the 2016 election and so this just goes to show that what we perceive or rely upon as experts aren't always correct or omniscient. I found it interesting because what Michael Moore is doing here is thinking for himself which is something I used to not do much off based on simply just me being a good student and followed and believed in all the indoctrination and propaganda both from academia and elsewhere. Michael Moore is being an intelligent person here because while he may very well be a hardcore Democrat, he's open to seeing the possibility that the person he doesn't like could still win once again which is something I think a lot of people don't really do because when they like a particular candidate, they tend to want to believe that whoever they like will win.

Yah you're still misunderstanding pretty badly here. Anyone who didn't think Trump could win--which is a pretty large group and includes just about as many Republicans as Democrats--believes it's impossible for him to get re-elected. They all pretty much think it's unlikely, in fact if you follow the betting markets--which can be far more accurate than long-range polls--they're putting their money on Trump not being re-elected and even odds he'll be impeached/25th-Amendmented

Thus at this point, it's not so much a matter of "surprise" or "unexpected" but grim resignation that that might be the outcome. That's not "being open to seeing the possibility."

Before my term has ended, we shall have to test anew whether a nation organized and governed such as ours can endure. The outcome is by no means certain. :phones:

I consider myself a conservative Democrat, but I could have voted for a few of the Republicans who lost in the primary instead of Hillary. Don Trump? No way-he's off the scale bat **** crazy.

Well, I checked Twitter and it appears Trump has more followers than Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton.

Before Trump supposedly got famous for making so-called "racist" or "sexist" comments, it just seemed a lot of people (including young ones) admired him.

His reality show The Apprentice was evident of that.

Divide by 2. Half of them are bots, and most of those have IPs that are in Russia.

"Watching a clown on TV" != "admiring him"

Nah, somewhere in your dreams, you "wish" they were bots or fake.

Well obviously Alex Jones didn't mention it, so you obviously think it's not true. Sad!

Yet lots of scholars were actually contestants on his show. Forget about the audience or viewers.

Scholars? As in they went to college? Smartest guy to appear on the show of course was Penn Jillette, who went to Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College.

But again, your idea that appearing on a highly rated show and "admiring" its host are related is, shall we say, "laughable." As a VP of Marketing let me tell you a thing or two about the value of free publicity....

I disagree with Hillary Clinton on just about everything there is to disagree with a person about. If it comes down to Trump and Hillary, I will put a Hillary Clinton sticker on my ****ing car. :phones:

I think there was a clinical psychologist that was on and some lawyers/attorneys. I wasn't referring to The Celebrity Apprentice just The Apprentice. That was more than 10 years ago.

You're a very confusing person to me, I hope you don't take offense. It's like you disagree with The Zeitgeist Movement but then I saw some post on a different thread where you're like complaining about all the wealth going to the top. So like here right now, you appear to disagree with a lot of things about Hillary Clinton yet you're what, willing to pick the lesser of the two evils for a lack of better words? Why would it ultimately matter anyway? Trump is there to appease nationalists/The Alt-Right. Hillary would have been there to appease the common folk. All of it is just an illusion and a game. At the end of the day and at the end of everyday, there will be some people dying or suffering whether it takes place inside the United States or outside of it.....

Not much of a difference, dear. The early non-celebrity contestants had no idea who he was beyond the headlines.

You didn't look up the quote did you?

You're not alone in thinking that both are equally evil. You might be chagrined to find though that most of those folks are socialist Bernie/Jill supporters.

The more sane of us realized that Hillary was not perfect but held our noses and voted for her. Unfortunately a large number of Republicans knew Trump was a charlatan or worse, and voted for him because the party was backing him and they hoped he'd someday "pivot" and become more "presidential."

If you've been watching his poll numbers, there are fewer and fewer who think he will.

Don't take my word for it though, see what your fellow Trump voters are saying:

(It may be MSNBC, but it's Morning Joe, former Republican congresscritter!)

Did anyone see pictures of Trump with some Blacks with regard to the Hurricane Harvey incident? He sure doesn't look like a racist to me.

Yah, I'm sorry he disappointed you so.

The videos are most illuminating. He's clearly never picked up a kid except when he's been forced to by his PR team. I was scared to death he was gonna drop that little girl.

AAAAAHHH you beat me to it Buff. I can hear the convo in AF1 going down to the disaster areas. "Now look Don make sure you get a lot of pictures with black people." "This will prove to everyone that you have no affiliation with those David Duke types out there."

He should have brought one of his live-in-nanny's along to help deal with the children. Since so many family's must have got separated from their own in all the confusion, he could have lent them one of his. Never the less, true to his word on so many other issues, if he says things with the rescue effort are moving along nicely, I'm forced to believe him.

Politicians, especially presidents, should be outlawed from disrupting rescue efforts with their security detail and swarm of media in tow just to make themselves look good and get photos. It's not just Trump, they all do it and they better, or the fake news will label them with being indifferent and not caring.

I know that we all knew Trump would move to get rid of DACA, but that makes it no less shortsighted.

These people were raised here and went to our schools, so we have an investment in these people. Instead of getting a return on that investment, Trump and his minions are throwing it all away.

Can you say exactly what they are throwing away?

Does anyone honestly believe all the hysterical hype about mass deportations?

From what I gather, by not reading all the hysterical anti-Trump hate speech, is ending DACA will force Congress to act to pass a Law, ending the legal limbo for the people who are currently in the program, most likely resulting in them getting their green cards and probably a fast track to US citizenship.

Seriously, what is not to like about that?
