There is a photograph on the cover of our current art museum magazine.  I am guessing I know what i is but maybe someone here can say for sure.  Here is the description:

Tokamak Asdex Upgrade Interior 2, Max Plank IPP, Garching  2009, detail.

It's a detail of a whole picture, I am sure but must add that the picture is a mass of detail on the inside of what I am guessing is the Max Plank telescope.  A wild guess going only on the name .  Such detail of (equipment?) is amazing.  I have read more but see "telescope" not mentioned anywhere.  Instead it is a story of the work Thomas Struth did to get a collection of such photographs.

If you go here  http://www.slam.org/  you can see part of what is on our magazine as one of the scrolling frames at the top.  It is not as clear as the magazine but it may help.  If you hold the mouse arrow over the picture, it will pause so you can read about the other pictures he took.  Scroll down to his name and click on that.  There are even a few more pictures.

You can bet I am going to this exhibit next month.
