Do you understand character encodings and what applications have to do to support them?

The answer is yes, but only if you're a masochist.

 

LOL, this is from MS themselves so it is very conservative.

Apart from the System limitations, I think it is definitely better than having

 

  1. Mixed case characters
  2. Special characters

 

which are difficult to remember.

 

If I were Chinese speaking, even a few English alphabets mixed with Mandarin would suit me just fine.  :sherlock:

 

PS - I could use a few digits (0-9) to create a really strong password !  :vava:
