Which is your favorite number on the number line ?

  •  0 - fulcrum of the number line
  •  1 - identity, non-prime, divisible only by itself
  •  10 - base for our day-to-day mathematics
  •  infinity - concept that is a number, yet not a number !  :irked:

a, b, c or d ?  :out:

For unknown reasons , it's No. 5!

Here is my rationale for the same :

You have 1 Head + 2 Arms + 2 Legs = 5 Nodes, and if you treat your body as a string, (as in string theory), you will realize that your body resonates with this frequency  :innocent:

Infinity is right out, as it isn't a number.  10 is only special because we use base ten.  If we still used base sixty, then sixty would be just as important.  I think it's a toss up between zero and one.  I choose one because from it all other rational numbers can be derived by adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing one repeatedly.  Of course, when you throw in irrationals, then the elegance is lost, so maybe zero would be better.  Then again, there's 42.
