I just watched the NASA webcast with the safe landing of Space Shuttle Discovery...wow...it is exciting stuff. Too bad they had to l and at Edwards since it was still night there but the infrared cameras which followed the shuttle made it look like a firefly dancing across the screen.

 

Congrats NASA. I hope it won't take too long before the next shuttle launch..

Absolutely Tormod, we can all breath a sigh of relief now that they landed. I hope they can solve these recurring problems before they return to flight, we don't want to see another disaster happen.

They made it back safely? Thats good to hear, I was getting worried when i heard about some of the problems that occured during take-off. I hadn't heard anything about a safe landing untill i saw this post. Thanks for the heads up.
