Dark matter is actually a function of superposition but not Spin Superposition, the cause is Hyper-charge being in a different state instead of the Hyper-charge being in a +1 state as in normal matter the Hyper-charge is in a Sterile or 0 state for Dark Matter, so actually you are correct in thinking the Spin number of dark matter may be different as well but no it is dependent upon the particle just as in normal physics Quarks being a different Spin state than Boson and etc. It is not that Spin is in a different state but rather Hyper-charge is zero in dark matter or different.
