obliqueweaponsfb Posted July 31, 2018 Report Posted July 31, 2018 (edited) What you do is put a magnetic field on a spaceship and compress a magnetic field so it blast out gauss hitting the field with speed. What's the difference? The EM drive has = forces pushing on the field. This idea has no = force. It works by the speed of the gauss blasted out hitting the field. That pushed the field out pulling it forward. The EM drive is like having a magnet south and north side push away from each other....Witch ever side pushes it away. The problem is if it's pushing and pulling it's = force. So a split second compressed magnetic field will have no = forces as the magnetic field it pulled together at the front, and it's the speed it hit's the field at that hits the magnetic field pulling it forward. This was my idea from 8+ years ago posted on Tau Zero Foundation fb page. The particles need to have electromagnetic charge to have this work, This will not work in space as space has no charge, nor does the EM drive work which is a waste of resources that the government is working on. Basic physics dictates the no electromagnetic propulsion devices will work in empty space. Edited August 1, 2018 by VictorMedvil Quote

DaveC426913 Posted August 1, 2018 Report Posted August 1, 2018 It doesn't matter what you use, or how you use it. You can't use magnetic fields to move a spaceship through space. Quote
