Gaia is not only finding supervelocity stars apparently being kicked out of the Milky Way but also finding supervelocity stars traveling into the Milky Way.  From these latter stars, we may learn more about other galaxies, say the researchers following Gaia's discoveries.

 

Oops!  Can someone with more power than I please spell "traveling" correctly?  Thank you.
