Buffy Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 as for tormods keyboard without keys...Yep, that's the one I'm talking about....coool... Cheers,Buffy Quote
C1ay Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I like the Happy Hacking keyboards too. Good feel and compact. Then again, I enjoy my Stowaway keyboard for my Palm. I see now that they have a USB and an infrared model I'm going to have to try. Quote
alxian Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 what is orders of magnitude more cool is that they have tested neural human interface devices. a person without mobility was able to navigate the internet using his mind. couple this with jacking visual signals directly into the brain bypassing the eyes and you have yourself a fully integrated personal link to the internet. lastly add wiMAX highband connection to the internet wirelessly with very great range and you can even navigate download and manipulate large sums of information without using a conventional computer. Buffy Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I like the Happy Hacking keyboards too. OMG! Is that a control key next to the A key? I MUST have one of those!!!! OH (original hacker),Buffy Quote
Dark Mind Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 From the Happy Hacking site... " The Spec of the Blank Key Top Model is the same as HHKB Professional. But Key top is Blank. The Blank Key Top has already so much FANS!! " :) Quote

For those that must have a caps lock though, maybe they should stick to a Smith Corona keyboard modded to a PS2 connection. :) Quote
Buffy Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 "The Blank Key Top has already so much FANS!! "I'm not surprised. With the speed that hacker's type, I'm sure that heat dissipation is a real problem... :) Cheers,Buffy Quote
Dark Mind Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 That thing is AWESOME :)! I must get one :). Quote

C1ay Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 So, keeping me off, right? :)That depends, how well can you type with blank keys :) Quote
Dark Mind Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Shoot, I can barely type with black and white keys :)... I need a bigger keyboard, it just doesn't feel comfortable trying to type with all ten fingers. I know where all the keys are, but it's kind of hard to train two fingers to remember those distances when they're flying all over the keyboard :). Someday, maybe... Quote

alxian Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 if it came in wireless and had had clear acrylic keys (backlit) so i could turn on the keys to ease the transition to keyless 1337ness. and of course it would have to have multimedia keys.. this centrios dime store keyboard has this volume dial... you spin it to adjust the volume.. attention to small details. alexander Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Perhaps you guys can come up with some money and buy me one of these: http://www.artlebedev.com/portfolio/optimus/ keyboards when they come out, for my birthday :) Quote
CraigD Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Rather the opposite of a keyboard with no labels, I like the Optimus keyboard, in which each key is a programmable color OLED array. All keys can send long sequences of scancodes. Imagine all the pretty smileys actuall appearing on your keyboard :) Quote
