I am unfamiliar with that specific product, so I can only speak in general terms.  If you are talking about an older diesel engine, made before 2007, it probably won't make much difference.  Newer diesel engines are using a high pressure common rail fuel injection system, and the fuel is going through the injection nozzles at easily twice the pressures of the older engines, so any contamination, either from particulates or moisture will cause premature wear on both injection pumps and nozzles.  Filtration is very important, as is water separation. Improved filtration and water separation will undoubtedly increase engine life, but I am skeptical about the claims of boosted performance, however I am always skeptical about such claims. I would search for reviews.  There are several on line diesel forums to look at that have many members who like to try to be helpful.
