In the Bible it also states that 1/3 of the stars in the sky will go nova, do think that is another predictions of a Human and Alien War or Alien and Alien War?

What is your interpratation of this: 

 

 

 

 A third of the stars were darkened, athird of the day was without light, and a third of the night as well.

 

Literally taken it seems to say that we will go without light for 4 hours in a 12 hour day. What would it mean for people north of 60 D-north or south of 60D-south? As in that perhaps meaning they would only see the sun for 16 hours in the summer instead of 24?

 

Could it all mean that the earth will stand still for a third of the time each day?
