The Question was posed should A.I. that are self aware have rights even computers have the ability to think, I tend to believe that they should as I treat mine like a human like I do the Dog which are treated with the same respect as humans in my household but again the question was asked to you?

There are some extra bits with that. Giving AI rights means they also would have responsibilities. Taxes and whatnot. I mean, Corporations are "persons" as well, with "rights" and "responsibilities." The question would come along as to legal responsibilities too: how to you "jail" an AI? With corporations you can thoretically go after the humans in the drivers seats, with Ai... sticky question?
