Moronium Posted February 4, 2019 Report Posted February 4, 2019 (edited) I posted some comments on a recent climate-related study but for some ignorant reason put in the "engineering and applied sciences" category (which most posters seem to ignore). I never even noticed his forum, which would have been much more appropriate. It's the kind of topic that usually generates some "interest" (often of the highly emotionally charged variety), so I thought I'd call some attention to it here, too, just in case anybody else has some comments. http://www.scienceforums.com/topic/35053-how-can-you-improve-on-settled-science/?do=findComment&comment=367765 Edited February 4, 2019 by Moronium Quote
montgomery Posted February 8, 2019 Report Posted February 8, 2019 (edited) http://variable-variability.blogspot.com/2014/05/resignation-lennart-bengtsson.html He says his colleagues are evil! And he's recanted his position. Which of the 5 would be your own personal favourite denier? It seems that the only way to come to some sort of conclusion on the question being posed on this thread would be to examine the credibility of the deniers. The 15 listed are the experts, not us, and so we need to have some standard on which to judge them. Bengtsson has recanted, for whatever reason? And when he says his colleagues are evil, that leads to suspicions of lack of credibility. Can you promote one of the remaining 4 that we can investigate and then use to establish credibility?
