:beer-fresh: Biblical semantics interpreted in modern science

The wind bloweth where it listeth - John 3:8

  • It indicates a potential gradient in the column of air
  • It indicates conversion of potential to kinetic energy

So it's scientific

Agree or disagree ?

Disagree.  I can't recall anything particularly scientific in the Bible.  The book is an assemblage of stories and prophesies to teach Judaism and Christianity, and is not meant to be taken literally.  The full quote says "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."  I interpret that to mean "hear the wind blow and know not where it came from and where it is going just like everyone who seeks enlightenment".  BTW, do you ever post any other content than random polls or are you a primitive AI?
