John92 Posted May 20, 2019 Report Posted May 20, 2019 Hi all, In nuclear magnetic resonance, when should one process spectra in absorption mode and when - in magnitude mode? What is benefit of using the first one and the second one? For example, I need to integrate spectrum. In this case, what should I use - absorption or magnitude mode? Quote
rhertz Posted May 21, 2019 Report Posted May 21, 2019 Hi all, In nuclear magnetic resonance, when should one process spectra in absorption mode and when - in magnitude mode? What is benefit of using the first one and the second one? For example, I need to integrate spectrum. In this case, what should I use - absorption or magnitude mode? You need to be more specific. Your question has a very broad scope. Try with Wikipedia, and also read something about industrialNMR spectrometers, like the one on this link. I think it can help you: Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer http://www.rsic.iitb.ac.in/nmr.html John92 1 Quote
rhertz Posted May 21, 2019 Report Posted May 21, 2019 This one can help you also. There is plenty of information about nmr spectroscopy. https://www.slideserve.com/mali/nuclear-magnetic-resonance-nmr-spectroscopy John92 1 Quote
