exchemist Posted June 7, 2019 Report Posted June 7, 2019 Any equation that results in probabilities is a failure.Jolly good, that rules out all of both quantum theory and statistical thermodynamics. So that means the whole of physical chemistry is a failure, according to you. Enough of this tomfoolery. [click] Quote
Vmedvil2 Posted June 7, 2019 Report Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) Are you trying to say I'm a jerk? That's an opinion. I never wished anyone any harm.Polymath how many accounts do you have now, you have to have more than 20 on this site. It's the Poly Legion! Edited June 7, 2019 by VictorMedvil Quote

pittsburghjoe Posted June 8, 2019 Author Report Posted June 8, 2019 Do you still think I'm this other guy? I don't get how you got his theory mixed with mine. Quote
pittsburghjoe Posted June 8, 2019 Author Report Posted June 8, 2019 Could this be used to describe an atom turning into quantum waves? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4EgbgTm0Bg Quote

pittsburghjoe Posted June 8, 2019 Author Report Posted June 8, 2019 (edited) I'm not a fan of how off the rails you have turned my thread into. This subject is all I have been thinking about in my off time. It really does frustrate me that no one cares about this obvious thing I'm pointing at. Edited June 8, 2019 by pittsburghjoe Quote
pittsburghjoe Posted June 8, 2019 Author Report Posted June 8, 2019 In my "20 accounts", I attempted to describe QM as not using spacetime? Quote
Dubbelosix Posted June 8, 2019 Report Posted June 8, 2019 ''Attempted'' is the most intelligent word you have used so far... the fact is, you have demonstrated nothing but the above, except you are desperate for attention when holding the lowest denominator of poker cards. Quote
pittsburghjoe Posted June 19, 2019 Author Report Posted June 19, 2019 If matter waves are only waves of variables/information and their amplitude propagate along a 2D plane ..it's all the more reason to believe observation/spacetime converts the information to reality. If QM represents information, Spacetime was built on top of it. It occurred to me that Dark Energy is quantum and also existed before the big bang / spacetime. I'm starting to think there isn't a reason for spacetime to exist without something intelligent implementing it. The infinite dimension of information waves was doing just fine without spacetime making everything physical. Quote
