Hello. I'm an 19-year-old ASD gnostic atheist socialist. My atheism is the result of my interactions with theists, my understanding of theistic arguments and philosophy, and the failure of theism to provide it's good reasons to believe. I had one really major theistic interaction when I was in high school. I was with this dude (we'll call him CName), that was rather upset that I didn't believe in a deity. "Why don't you believe in god?" "I have no reason." "You need believe in god." "You need you justify that reason." That's was enough to tick him off. Most of our talks became arguments after that, mostly about his beliefs and why. He has a very egotistical view of reality and doesn't feel like he needs to justify it all to anybody. CName came up with many reasons to not justify his claims. "I can't do X or Y because A, B, or C law" "That's what you need to find out." "Why do we need evidence?" This went on until I graduated.

 

I found out through my interactions, is that basically believes anything that he deems trustworthy (and that's a lot), such as his chums, YouTube (the guy is basically a graduate of YouTube university. According to him, he's some sort of detective to find out about cryptozoology), and his father says. As as result, he believes a lot of of bullshit.

Yeah. Its a **** load of dumb. He basically thinks that he is some sort time-lord wizard god of the animals that is sent from god to purge the world of the atheists. All to feel the right kind of special. I got death threats from him, supernatural (shadow realm, black hole) or just passive aggressive ones. Just for questioning his beliefs. I couldn't even make this up if I tried and it's hard for me to believe what I'm typing or have typed, so I'm not very surprised if you don't believe me. But it's the reason why I'm so anti-faith; belief in the absence or in spite of the evidence is what led him to believe in this. And I'm sad that I didn't get to him sooner.

Yes. What is the closest real world counter part to these beings or powers. In other how could say dragons, Bigfoot, or vampires exist in the real world.

None of that BS exists, there is nothing remotely like them that do exist, I think someone is just screwing with you. Other stuff on that list like Human Genetic Modification is very real though.

If he is sending you death threats report him to the police or FBI, they take that stuff very seriously, There is nothing quite like having Federal Agents or Cops show up at your doorstep. It is literally their job to protect people from stuff like that if you feel threatened then call the Cops or FBI. This guy seems like a total wack job, they are these people's specialty.

The best way to do it is to kill the other guy first and not end up giving gun control to a bunch of elitists with a badge who operate under black and white text.

 

The reason things are so dystopic in this world is because the weak cowards dont want to do things themselves, if theres one thing I've learned it's never become become like that and give power to a set of false arbitrary doctrines that dont allow room for the variety experience we need to grow and evolve beyond any single set of values and moralities.

Btw no such thing as ASD, you can't define and individual with a set of words. The equation for an individual has astronomical odds of re-occuring so labelism doesnt work.

You see what we're with labelism, diagnosing, is we are creating an environment that falsely classifies a group of people to be subject to hatred and persecution. It is wrong to associate a trait with a "disorder", people who have higher IQs are being drugged, dumbed down, because they aren't able to be dumbed down by academic institutions. This has been labeled as pervasive learning disorder.

Anarchy is fantastical at best over long periods. Whenever a state is destroyed, a new one emerges. This has been the case for all social organisms and societies. Paganism is not better than any other religion.  It is a faith based belief system, meaning that you must believe in spite of or in the absence of evidence, making utterly useless as framework for epistemology.

 So mental illness denialism? If it weren't for labels, you and I couldn't speak together about anything. The goal of a language is to speak about ideas within a framework that we can both understand. It works under verificationism, that words map to real-world objects and ideas. Without it, language would be a mess.  

 

Your argument against "labelism" is utterly false. It's a non-sequitur and an argument from probability. Not to mention Littlewood's law and that if the universe goes for long enough, and considering how many habitable planets there are, you and I are an inevitability.  

 

Of course, you can't sum up any sort of individual by just one word. I didn't even imply that. So you're bloody straw-manning me. ASD doesn't sum up my character. I already did. I wasn't really scared however, just tired and wanted it to stop. I was convinced in his BS, so I was basically unfettered by his threats.

The Hashtag Technocratic Branch under this makes no sense as people that are considered the "Elite" are more likely to use law enforcement rather than waste their time doing it themselves. Only people in jail or in gangs believe that usually the cops take care of people that think they are above the law and break them.

See that line of thinking will get you into trouble you may not believe this but I once had a philosophy close to that about killing the enemy yourself and leaving other out of it, but it got me in a situation where the law enforcement people thought I was the bad guy in the situation. It is better to just let the people with badges deal with that sort of thing I learned rather than deal with it yourself. The people I was hunting were terrorists thus I thought the Law Enforcement agencies would not care however over time they started to care deeply that I was hunting these criminals, batman style.
