hazelm Posted February 19, 2020 Report Posted February 19, 2020 Can someone please explain the differences among these three glucose test terms? 1. Average Glucose A1C 2. Hemoglobin A1C 3. Glucose These terms were taken form a pamphlet about diabetes. I never got a chance to read it all. I know, of course, what glucose is. And I understand what "average glucose A1C is. Hemoglobin A1C is, I suppose, blood glucose. I never heard of that. My curiosity is how does each differ from the other two? Why three different kinds of tests? Thank you. Quote
