C1ay Posted September 4, 2005 Author Report Posted September 4, 2005 There are many similar assemblies going on around the web via email and forums.. Mine is a list I've collected over a couple of years. Just searching the first one alone on the web, "The bandage was wound around the wound." has over 6000 hits on Google. Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 Well, glad you were able to share that list with us . Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Correct this with correct punctuaution :): She said that that that that I used was not necessary. Have fun . Quote
Qfwfq Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Correct this with correct punctuaution :): She said that that that that I used was not necessary. Have fun .How about: She said that that 'that' that I used was not necessary. Right? Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Missed a comma or two, but close enough :). General gist of what was trying to be conveyed at least gets through with that iteration . Quote
Tormod Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Do you all have parkways over in Norway?. Over here we drive on the parkway and then park in the driveway. No, we just cut down trees to build parks (lyric from a Norwegian song). :) I was a couple of days in Holland last week, and at Schiphol Airport there was a sign near the restrooms that said "Baby Change". Wonder what they change them for. Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 No smiley? Was that a serious question? In the restrooms there are "stations" where parents can take in their babies to change their babies diapers . Quote
Tormod Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 The PARENTS change their diapers??? Wow...and I thought baby diapers were bad enough. Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Correction in bold :):No smiley? Was that a serious question? In the restrooms there are "stations" where parents can take in their babies to change their babies diapers :).Again, no smiley but I'd assume this one would be at the end of that last sentence: :D Quote
Tormod Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 That would be "their babies' diapers" then. ^^note smiley^^ Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 That would be "their babies' diapers" then. :) ^^note smiley^^Well, I guess that that's the last bit of grammar required to make the sentence correct... Any more nit-picking you'd care to do ? Quote
