I heard this story many years ago while listening to Paul Harvey on the radio.

Seems that this young man went to visit his girl friend with the intention of breaking up with her. See lived in an apartment house on the 15th floor and, after climbing the stairs and entering her apartment he broke the news to her. They had been engaged and this revealation came as quite a shock to her and needless to say, she was devastated. After a short exchange, the young fellow left and proceded back down the 15 flights of stairs. In the mean time the young lady found the news of the break-up entirely more that she could live with so she went to the window and jumped out. She fell those 15 stories and landed below but, it didn't kill her. The reason her life was spared is the fact that she landed on something that cushioned her fall. She had landed on that young fellow that had just recently broke-up with her. It killed him..................this is a true story. It took place in Czechoslovakia.

Actually.... Yeah, I do .
But as she jumped, he hadn't exited the front door yet. How could she have planned it? Maybe she figured out the rate of fall calculated against the pace of his walk??..............Maybe, but that would require a calculator.........humm..........No, I don't think she had enough time nor interest, she just jumped. Do you think he had it coming??

I don't think he had it coming, but I do think there are ways the determined individual could have accomplished what she did.

Maybe she saw his reflection in a car window as he exited the building (Assuming the building had a glass door). Maybe he paused after exiting the building, thinking about what he had done.

:hihi:

I don't know, but it could have been done .

Another story which comes to mind takes place on a college campus. This young lady picks up a book at the campus book store with the intention of reading it as her free time would permit. As the weeks went by, she had tryed several times to get interested in the book but could only stay focused long enough to progress through one or two chapters. She eventually put it on her book shelf and lost interest in it. Later that summer she was relating the story to a friend how she had learned that the professor she had just fallen in love with had, in fact, authored this same book. She told her friend that she had again taken up reading the book and now just couldn't put it down. Funny how love will change our minds about things.

She still couldn't have predicted his motion for the time it took her to fall. Try dropping a ripe peach on someone's head from 15 stories up.

hmm, I don't see how he would have it coming or that karma would be involved. I don't think that someone should be killed because they decided to change their life, she has her own life and if his change doesn't involve her, she just needs to get over it and let him be happy. death for a breakup is like an eye for a toe nail.

___This is why I think Karma fits nicely with chaos theory. Initial conditions, plus recursion, plus Butterfly Effect means things add up in unexpected ways. Synergy; Synchronicity; Karma; Chaos; Gestures-from-the-World. It has to unfold to see the pattern. Sometimes, the pattern is an eye for a toe nail.

___One time, a friend & I went hunting for a crows nest in order to increase our power. After several hours, we found a fine nest on a too tall Fir, out on a too small branch in a secluded forest. While we contemplated our inability to climb this particular too tall tree, we walked in circles directly under the nest with our necks craned up & reckoning our situation. Suddenly, I stubbed my boot on something hard & parting the grasses I found a rusty but servicable claw hammer. We found our power that day. All crows build nests over hammers.
