Vmedvil2 Posted April 12, 2021 Report Posted April 12, 2021 (edited) I was thinking you could just publish your works on the blockchain instead of publishing the work in a patent, do you think that would work as a alternative to patenting a work? Edited April 12, 2021 by VictorMedvil Quote
HallsofIvy Posted April 16, 2021 Report Posted April 16, 2021 First, work that can be "published" would be "copyrighted", not "patented". But what legal authority would this blockchain have? If you published on a blockchain and someone copied it, would a judge recognize a "blockchain" like he or she would a copyright? Quote

You are obviously retarded when you patent something you publish the details of how it works, at that point I stopped listening to you. "A patent publication is a published utility patent application. A patent publication is not a patent. While a published patent application may eventually issue into a patent, the patent publication consists of only the application itself, namely, the drawings and written specification."
