No; he played the character on TV. They decided not to use my guy who played Dillon on radio because he was too fat. (that's about a dead giveaway and another hint.:naughty:)

Okay. Was it William Conrad then? I'm running out of ideas.

 

He played a detective in a TV series called Cannon. It ran about the same time as Barnaby Jones, Mannix, Charlie's Angels, etc., you know, the 70's. :sherlock:

:shrug: The Fat Man it is; William Conrad. He played the voice of Matt Dillion on the radio drama Gunsmoke before it became a television show (and before I even had a TV. :eek2: :naughty:) :sherlock:
