rockytriton Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 no, two digit number like 00 not 000 or 0000both digits must be odd ok, then my number is 63h Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Mine's Xx :). And rocky's is three digits, and none of ours are between 1 and 100 :D. Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Okay, between 1 and 100, I choose lucky number 13 :). Quote
rockytriton Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 mine were both 2 digit numbers, just the first was in base 2 and the second was in base 16. both were the same number though. Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 ok, then my number is 63h63h... Base 16... :) Now I don't want to have to learn this again... :D Please explain how you can have a lower case "h" and still be in such a low base. From what I learned, the smallest base you can be in with "h" is base 44. With an upper case "H", base 18. :D What am I missing? Quote
rockytriton Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 because the trailing h is used to indicate hexadecimal. I could have written it 63h or 0x63. Quote
Dark Mind Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 Ohhhhhh...... Uhhh, sure. Still don't get it though :). Teach me of this hexadecimal property :D. PM probably would be better, just to help keep this thread a little more on track than where it's going :D. Quote
rockytriton Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 this thread is always off track. 0x63 or 63h = (6 * 16) + 3 = 99 Quote
