Further hint: 'it' can kill you from afar without you ever seeing or hearing it, or it can kill you up close & personal and all you can see or hear is it.

Another hint: 'it' has been around before people existed to see it or categorize it.

I am not familiar with the rules of base ball but is the Babe Ruth one some sort of play on the words "Get Out" in relation to either hitting the ball out of the field or being caught out?

oooooooo...good call Karnu! in baseball, a 'strike' is a swing and miss, or no swing and the pitch in the 'strike zone' or sometimes a swing and a hit that goes foul is a 'strike', but 3 'strikes' is always an 'out'. :shrug:

YIPEEEE!!!! Karnu is close enough with the answer I was looking for and Turtle got it indirectly with three strikes and you are out.

 

Babe Ruth Strikes out is the exact answer and that is how he got out, he strikes out lol !
