Repair takes a 1/2 hour, but the train can only continue at 1/2 speed and arrives 2 hours late. If the delay was 100km further in the journey, it would have been 1 hour late. What is the total journey distance?Answer: When is a riddle not a riddle?; when its a math problem.:) Quote

Repair takes a 1/2 hour, but the train can only continue at 1/2 speed and arrives 2 hours late. If the delay was 100km further in the journey, it would have been 1 hour late. TheBigDog Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 1kg. Or twice "heavy". KG = 2 * heavy1kg is the answer. The unit of measure "heavy" converts to kg as 1kg = 2 * heavy. Bill Quote
