Since JaQ hit the jist of the riddle & the guessing from there may continue unabated without success, I have decided to give the answer & get this show back on the rode.;)

 

What gets thinner the more fat you add to it?

Well, you could also say the protective epidermis layer... but tanning jokes probably don't work so well in the rain filled NW... :shade:

People don't tan up here, they rust!:hyper: Land of liquid sunshine.:eek2:

PS I tried to make a riddle of that, but I just couldn't get it molded right.:lol:
