I won't give the answer becasue I feel like it would be cheating being I didn't figure it out myself. modest Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 1-Fella stops his car at a hotel and suddenly realizes he's broke. Oddly enough - same thing happened with the horse and rider :shrug: 2-Fella gets on an elevator and goes to the 12th floor. He gets off the elevator and walks up 5 flights to floor 17 (where he lives). One guy pushed the car up to the hotel and realized he was broke (out of money) The other guy did the same... except with a horse and rider. One thing's for sure - whoever bought that hotel was either damn lucky or damn smart :shrug: I've heard a variation of this before (I think I even posted it earlier in this thread) so I'll give others a chance to guess.
