I can understand earth's water coming from asteroids, but where did earths magma core come from?

Well, when the solar system first formed the materials were hotter being around a newly formed star, they were just gas, dust, comets and rocky asteroids that merged into the layers of Earth, since then the layers of the mantle, crust and atmosphere have kept heat in from the sun thus making the core very hot having a liquid outer core of magma but actually the inner core is solid due to high pressure.(https://www.lanl.gov/museum/discover/_docs/where-did-earth-come-from.pdf).
