Boerseun Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 Sorry, but I have racked my brain for 24 hours and can think of nothing to add to this thread. So you probed your brain and found nothing? ;) Quote
Pyrotex Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 So you probed your brain and found nothing? ;)You have blown my cover. :)Now it is public knowledge.I shouted in my ear, "hello?"The echo came back, "nothing...othing...thing...ing...ng..." Quote
Jay-qu Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 The time reversal of nothing is not nothing but something in the form of "gnihton" :) Quote
Tormod Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 I shouted in my ear, "hello?"The echo came back, "nothing...othing...thing...ing...ng..." Lucky you. I had no echo at all...it all went straight through...nothing there. Quote
Tormod Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 BTW, what is the echo of nothing? Quote
Boerseun Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 BTW, what is the echo of nothing?Nothing is actually a special case when it comes to accoustics. It is the one frequency that'll echo without losing energy every time it bounces between objects. For instance, if you stand in front of a cliff and shout nothing at it, you'll keep on hearing nothing from the rockface indefinitely. Quote

Nothing is louder than my old stereo! Bill Quote
Pyrotex Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 The Nature of Nothing has been cracked. In a brilliant, though entirely negative experiment, not performed at Notford, England, anti-negatrons were not collided in an evacuated chamber containing an immeasurable amount of nothing. At virtually zero energies, the nothing was made to break down into quantum unparticles, now called, nothons. Nothons have the unique property that they are detectable anywhere in the universe except where your detector is focused. Nothons that are made to not travel through a double slit have been shown to inexplicably produce patterns that are uniquely not a tartan plaid. This result is very puzzling to Physicists, whose only comment so far has been, "nothing doing!" Quote
Tormod Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 But what medium do these nothons propagate through? Nothing? Quote
Buffy Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 But what medium do these nothons propagate through? Nothing? You're not going to posit the silly notion that nothons require Neither are you? That was disproven by the Nautelson-Norley experiment! Lack of being,Buffy Pyrotex 1 Quote
Pyrotex Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 I believe that Buffy has just had the final -- and terminal -- word on this subject. There is not more nothing more that can be said. ;) Quote

Buffy Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 I disagree. There is an infinite amount of nothing even in a closed Universe! Let nothing reign,Buffy Quote
