HA! I say, you breach the nugatory membrane between nothing and non-existence, never knowing the nothingness of which never existence did nertify.

Nothing in this thread really matters to me, but I do believe you meant nerdify!

...so what you're telling me, is that if the Chinese increase their fish consumption even more, we'll get closer to finding the first immortal fish in China?

Closer, yes! Every day. But sadly nothing can get us to the singularity except killing all the fish.

Can you eat an immortal fish? There's nothing in the manual about it, but won't it kinda screw with the definition of immortality?

Get a better manual, they cost virtually nothing these days.

But you'd probably gain nothing from eating an immortal fish even if you tried, because a) it would have to be alive when you eat it (sort of a pre-sushi treatment), and B) it would have to be alive when it exits you (not to mention that it has to be alive in between).

...virtually nothing...

As much as it pains me to do this, I must strenuously object.

This is a thread for "nothing". The real thing. Absolute, palpable nothing.

I take umbrage at this squalmous attempt to slip mere "virtually nothing" under the door as if it were the real thing. HA! ;)

Have you regard for nothing?!?!?!?! :goodbad:

Your rant tells me nothing but the fact that you are a doofus without a clue as to the "real" reality in real life. Nothingness is as nothingness does, as nobody says.

"Virtually nothing" is a very important existential concept that has everything to do with nothing. ;)

All of the content of this thread, if quantified numerically would round to nothing. So this thread is virtually nothing, and as close to nothing as I have encountered. I accept it as nothing more than nothing. Whatever somethings are here are entirely inconsequential.

So what will it take to keep this thread alive? Nothing?

I have been experencing the effects of doing nothing so intensly lately that I will soon have to take break from nothing and do nothing a lot less than i have been recently.

This thread violates the law of conservation - it is fueled by nothing.
But it produces nothing, so nothing is conserved.

Ha! The thread has died! Nothing lasts forever!

I guess that concludes my test. :)

Nonsense, fjord-breath!

Work has gotten extremely busy! At last, I'm living my teenage dream to actually build a rocket ship! Trouble is, now I've not got Nothing to do! And therefore I do not have Nothing to contribute to this thread.

That's very logical.

Well, I for one am now on vacation and I will be doing NOTHING for the next three weeks....except of course occasionally pestering all of you with silly objections to your absurd scientific "theories"! :)

More suntan lotion please,

That's what indentured servants children are for! Its not for nothing I bring my daughter along!

We missed a 4.3 quake by 2 days: it was nothing but the remotes to the TVs and the coffee machine were all over the floor...

If I briefly get bored of nothing, I'll send cool crater pictures...
