spartan45 Posted November 1, 2021 Report Posted November 1, 2021 Politically it seems to me the public are sometimes being misled by the mainstream media if an agenda is in play. I think the references below are good examples and they left me wondering if the World has gone crazy. Either type in the titles to Youtube search or simply follow the link. tv1000 Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 Hi, spartan45, What a beautiful question. Almost like "Life Is Beautiful" (1997) media (n.) "newspapers, radio, TV, etc." 1927, perhaps abstracted from mass-media (1923, a technical term in advertising); plural of medium (n.) as "intermediate agency," a sense attested in English from c. 1600. Also see -a (2). https://www.etymonline.com/word/media#etymonline_v_12509 Disclaimer: ... ... ... /in general it says that the following is wrong writer does not know what he or she is talking/talks about / This forum is a media (publishing (?)). It connects you and me and the others. It has owner(-s), rules, politics... The same is with the senses. The same is with the merchants. merchant (n.) "one engaged in the business of buying commercial commodities and selling them again for profit," ... https://www.etymonline.com/search?q=merchant The same is with the Nature. There is matter (from Latin materia "substance from which something is made," ... (Etymonline)) and fields (matter and field particles). --- There is nothing wrong in lying (to speak falsely) as long as you are not caught. types of lying: straight lie not telling all of the truth (misleading) adding something which does not belong there (misleading) Put in another way: Mushroom treatment: kept in a state of ignorance and told nonsense /a way of containment (to be restrained)/ https://wordhistories.net/2020/01/01/mushroom-dark-fed-bullshit/ This a beautiful way to mislead future thinking machines (the robots) into submission. Every time when something(someone) looks or seems or is beautiful it is made that way on purpose. Have a nice day. Quote

spartan45 Posted March 24, 2022 Author Report Posted March 24, 2022 Suppression by UK mainstream media of a story reported by the New York Post? Whenever the UK mainstream media could report a perceived negative story about President Donald Trump when he was in office, it seemed to me the story would be highlighted immediately on all channels and ‘Fact Checkers’ were nowhere in sight. Now we have a story from a New York Post journalist that has not been mentioned, (to my knowledge), on any mainstream media outlet in the UK. Could this be an example of a mainstream hidden agenda? (I am a UK citizen which is why I’ve focused on the UK media). To be fair, it might just be the timing is not right in these strange times.
