It seems that the Russians feel as if their security concerns have been ignored, read more at https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/02/01/ukraine-russia-putin-blinken-diplomacy-nato/

P.S. I don't think anyone would want a war that would end civilization as we know it which would be the outcome if the East and West fought, ultimately I would hope the Russians would realize that the US and their allies do not seek harm to Russia but will protect Ukraine's freedom if it comes to that. You know space is vast and there is much room out there to spread for all the nations on this planet, I would say Ukraine is unimportant compared to that, just colonize space with all the money and resources that we spend on war we could use that to expand our influence into the universe as a united species of different cultures. That's what I think, it would be a shame for a war to happen and this species destroy itself then never get to reap the rewards of all our efforts as a space faring civilization. I would hope that someday there would be a Russian citizens and of all nations that would serve on the real life space ships that colonize Mars and beyond, when you consider the fate of the species hangs in the balance at this moment it just isn't worth it when you consider our grand future as a species, consider this if the East and West come to blows a thousand generations of this species will have all wasted their efforts not just the current ones, it cannot end here on this planet because of a disagreement or atleast I would hope not. I know no one asked my opinion however that's my thoughts about this situation.

In any case, I think Biden means it when he says he will not allow you to bully those countries. It is your choice the peaceful solution or possibly start the biggest war since World War II. Is it really worth it?

Don't you realize Biden is  cognitively impaired? We don't know who is behind the scenes manipulating him, but for sure Bernie Sanders, the self-proclaimed socialist/communist is chief among them. Putin understands Biden is weak and will not act to stop Russia's aggression. Putin wants to restore the USSR, and Ukraine is one of the pieces of the puzzle he wants and he thinks he has a rightful claim to it. If he decides to take it, nobody will act to stop him, and he knows it.

Well, you know just voicing my opinion on stuff, nothing I say will change anything either way as I know for a fact that no one reads these forums. You know I wish I was up there sometimes I would have a peace agreement hammered out in days. Honestly, I don't want a major conflict between the East and West as nuclear war is bad for the economy.

However, it seems that maybe there will be a deal made, link = Biden offers Russia NATO-base access to ease crisis: report (nypost.com) and In Responses to Russia, U.S. Stands Firm on Who Can Join NATO - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

I don't think that Biden is as mentally impaired as people think and it seems that he is currently trying to put pressure on Russia to get them to think twice about any invasion plans which is a decent strategy maybe that will force Russia to the diplomatic table. I have no doubts that Putin wants to reclaim the former glory of the USSR but based on the level of resistance he has against such a thing I don't know if he will get it, furthermore really, they just need to cut a deal over this situation.

Let's see here, so Russia hated to troop increase and we all know why, Link = https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-60238869

And NATO says that Russia is trying to make a pretext for Invasion, link = https://www.npr.org/2022/02/03/1078045214/u-s-says-russia-is-planning-a-staged-attack-in-ukraine-to-justify-an-invasion

Well, this is interesting I don't know how any of this changes anything, I think I am just going to watch for a bit and let the events just happen as I have already said what I wanted to say. It is like watching two people play chess or something but with higher stakes such as the fate of the world.

You know who I think I agree with on this subject, link = https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/28/politics/us-russia-ukraine-invasion-warning/index.html, cause bad outcomes are going to happen if this continues to escalate.
