OceanBreeze Posted February 23, 2022 Report Posted February 23, 2022 If the cold hands are accompanied by the following symptom picture, it may be a sign of Venous Insufficiency: easy fatigability, cold hands and feet, generally flabby musculature, a tendency toward being overweight, and a taste for sweet foods. Anxiety and a propensity to become overwhelmed by life are also part of the picture. There are other conditions that can cause cold and clammy hands, such as mononucleosis, but this condition is usually accompanied by many other symptoms, such as: Fatigue/tiredness, Headache, Sore throat, Fever, Night sweats, Swollen lymph nodes in the neck and armpits, Swollen tonsils and spleen and Skin rash so is much more easily diagnosed than venous insufficiency. In any case, I am not qualified to make a diagnosis and this condition needs to be checked by a medical doctor. Quote
