US declares war against North Korea

US PresidentDonald Trump announced he would declare war on North Korea after leader Kim Jong Un's regime threatened to fire missiles towards Guam.

Trump wrote on Twitter: "North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the 'Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.' Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

The tweet came 24 hours after Pyongyang issued a similar warning in reaction to joint military exercises between South Korea and the United States, days before its annual springtime missile tests.

And the U.S. Pacific Command said two projectiles were detected flying across Japan's northern airspace. One was shot down quickly while the other landed in the sea off Hokkaido, according to the statement.

China, however, warned that any threat to use force against North Korea would bring “an unstoppable collision.”
