Should Criminal Go To Pain Amplifiers In Digital Immortality?

I was thinking about something should criminals go to pain amplifiers and be tortured forever in digital immortality as a extended punishment for their crimes? Some people are monsters and this would be a fitting punishment for them to be mind uploaded and continue to be punished for their crimes. All that needs to be done is neurons firing in the pain centers of their whole brain simulation it is pretty simple stuff. I think it would greatly reduce crime if people knew that they would be punished forever by humans for being criminals and I think it would revolutionize the criminal justice system.
