That is the most fascinating biotechnology article I have seen in years. It seems to me the possibilities to expand on, and improve this technology, are limitless. Just adding enhancements, similar to Google’s suggested auto completion of words and even entire sentences, can greatly speed up not only this man’s ability to express himself, but speed up his actual thought processes; as there is direct access to his brain and his thoughts; in such a brain-computer interface.

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but I can imagine using a similar system on a non-impaired subject, to create a marriage of artificial and natural intelligence, that is superior to either type, independently of the other. Perhaps this sort of thing will open the door to a super-human intelligence?

I hope to live long enough to see this technology reach its full potential.

Many thanks, Vick, for providing the Link for this article in the MIT Technology Review.  I expect we will be reading a lot more about this in the not-too-distant future, as Elon Musk’s Company, Neuralink, plans to get involved!

It seems to me there are three essential individuals in this century who aught to have at least two apprentices each. The nine.

In this site, on this thread you possible have a geneticist who discovers something irreplaceable or essential (Victor) a chemist who has what I need, and me who obviously has some sort of cheap efficient particle accelerator bypass method that purportedly uses the quantum Venn diagram paradox since in my theory dark energy or tachyonic super gravity acts as the OG particle accelerator in the universe’s expansion proving story/hypothesis.

You can use it, I want a full report on what you discover and I want you to laser feed a black hole, link = https://www.scienceforums.com/topic/36333-a-real-life-lightsaber/
