Theophilus Posted October 6, 2005 Report Posted October 6, 2005 I (mis)spent several years contending on IIDB and was banned about a year ago. During that time, I was blessed to become acquainted with Hugo Holbling and am glad to see that he has contributed here. I claim no scientific credentials and readily admit that, except on the most elementary points, I am scientifically illiterate. As a Christian, my interests in science are apologetic and, hence, philosophical. I am not a "creationist" in the ICR or ID sense. I am a creationist because it is the clear testimony of the Creator in his authoritative revelation. I hope both to learn and question the assumptions that often characterize "scientism." My thanks to those who provide this opportunity. Quote

You are very welcome here. However, I strongly advise you to lurk around a bit and read up on our science topics before you start posting. As for the "scientism" issue it would be best discussed in the philosophy of science forum. Quote
