What is the working command for math expressions I tried [math]\frac{1}{2}[/math] as well as latex, tex

Evidently no one knows or this site no longer supports latex.

The latex module is not installed. I have been working behind the scenes to identify the problem and reported the fix to admins. I don't have the keys to unlock the admin door, so there is nothing more I can do about it. I also want to use latex but don't have the necessary rights to make the fix.

Thanks hopefully they fix it otherwise it really restricts the flexibility in applying physics etc.

Nah there are forums that still support latex I'd rather not have to jump through hoops and from what I've seen this site isn't rigorous enough for my taste.
