Mercenaryend Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 i am decorating my room (have been for some while) , and i want very cool pictures and things for my room, i like things (like for example the torino scale) , pictures of not just meaning less stars and crap though , i also not only limited to space would apreciate any kind of graphs, charts, maps, and especialy things like the torino scale (only for other natural disasters and such). i would do this myself , but i have homework!!! and i assume with the vast intervals of response time on these forums that some people may want to help me in my quest for interesting Decor! :) Quote
GAHD Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 do ou have a good printer? are you a painter? What skills do you have, it'll tell me what I can & cannot suggest. moved to the watercooler. Quote
Mercenaryend Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Posted October 14, 2005 yea, my printer is pretty good , capible as far as i know of printing anything around here. as of asking me if im a painter? i dont get that. why does that matter? Quote
GAHD Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 ok, here's an idea for you:Print starmaps onto cleer sheets of plastic, project them onto your wall, and paint the starfeild. (some people just can't paint, it's that simple) you could also apply this idea to things like pictures of comets, landscaes, whatever your fancy; project & paint. Quote
IrishEyes Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I am poking holes in one of the walls of my oldest son's new bedroom. Then we're having our electrician friend over to install a ton of tiny lights in the holes, with a multi-control switch, and a dimmer. The kid loves space, and I'm gonna make sure he can see it even from the basement. :) Quote
