Thormidble Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, just been browsing a while and thought I might have something that would interest you. sorry to bring back an old topic but has anyone here seen project offset? http://www.projectoffset.com/ Instead of finding mint hardware they set out to make a better renderer. Admitidley the system is dual processor, but check out the videos, all real time, just by using B-reps, trees and some cunning programming. Quote
alexander Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 windows world again?.... have you seen the photon mapping videos Thormidble? until PS3 comes out, and somebody actually writes the code that will use the true power of the hardware, nothing will be able to compare to the lighting realism of the photon mapping videos in my eyes... cool looking project though, wonder if cedega will support it :rainbow: Quote
