alexander Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Hooray, :umno:not like i didnt predict that sooner or later they'd have to do this, but according to Max Alt due to a "significant number of customers requests" Intel has started to support Debian Sarge in their "Quick Start Kit" http://www.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/187871.htm heh, so, who can with all seriousness tell me now that nobody uses Linux! One thing did make me mad though, this quote from an Asus representative: "We support Intel as the platform of choice and we are proud to work with Intel to serve the growing demand for Linux on the desktop" (http://event.asus.com/intel/)And that was said by a representative of a company that is most desired by linux users (nvidia cards have the best supported 3d accel drivers on linux) Yet its the company that releases the least amount of hardware specifications for their products, so driver writers have to really try to reverse engineer their cards....
