Drip Curl Magic Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 I think jesus didn't really believe in anything he preached... he just wanted power because he was tired of being a carpenter. He knew that he could manipulate people to believe that he was some sort of saint. All he truly wanted... was women, money, and power. But right as he started to earn the respect he needed to manipulate people into giving him these things, his plan backfired... Quote
rockytriton Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 I read some conspiracy theory thing recently, about the release of "Barabbas" in place of Jesus. It says that Barabbas was a radical jew and murdered people in his struggle (I guess he was like a terrorist), and the jews wanted him released, because they thought him the messiah. The jewish idea of a messiah wasn't that he was the son of God, but that he was the next king of the jews, decended from David. It also said that the word "Bar" mean son, and "Abbas" means "The Father". Also, it's kind of funny that the bible shows Jesus as a decendent of David through a whole line of begats that ends with Joseph, well, wasn't Joseph NOT his father? Don't they say God was his father and not Joseph? Quote
